The Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) is a digital entry permission issued by the UK Home Office. It is required for nationals of visa-exempt countries travelling to the United Kingdom for short visits of up to six months, including tourism, business, transit, and short-term study. It is not a visa, and it does not authorise paid employment, long-term study, or settlement.
Travellers may apply for an eTA directly through the official UK Government portal at gov.uk. Use of this website is optional. The price shown at checkout includes the government fee paid in full to the UK Home Office, together with a service fee payable to TravelHub Travel and Tourism L.L.C.
