The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is a digital entry permission issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. It is required for nationals of visa-exempt countries travelling to Canada by air for short visits of up to six months, including tourism, business, transit, and short-term study. It is not a visa, and it does not authorise paid employment, long-term study, or permanent residence.
Travellers may apply for an eTA directly through the official Government of Canada portal at canada.ca. Use of this website is optional. The price shown at checkout includes the government fee paid in full to IRCC, together with a service fee payable to TravelHub Travel and Tourism L.L.C.
